It is never too early or too late to start to take care of and look after your feet. Once you start looking after your feet you will start to avoid the ailments badly treated feet can bring, including anything from lower back pain to headaches.

A few tips to follow are, wash your feet daily in soapy water and dry them thoroughly especially between the toes. Moisturise the feet but not the toes. Sprinkle a small amount of foot powder on your feet. Change socks etc daily. Remove any hard skin using a pumice stone. Cut your toe nails regularly.Keep your feet warm.

Children's Foot Health

It is so important for children to get good foot care right from their first step. As with adults keeping children’s feet clean and dry is very important. A lot of common foot related problems can be avoided with properly fitting shoes such as Corns, Blisters, Bunions, In-growing toe nails and athlete’s foot.

Having your child's feet measured and assesed regularly is vital. It is also good to have a wide range of shoes with various widths and sizes to choose from, that way your child gets the correct fitting shoe.
